Wishlist // On the Ninth Day of Christmas...

I first discovered Bumble & Bumble when the lovely folks at Elle UK sent me a freebie sample of their thickening hairspray, and since I have not looked back. 

1 // Curl Conscious Calming Creme // This magic formula promises to smooth, soften and loosen tight curls without the crunchiness! Which is something other brands I have tried haven't quite managed to achieve. I have faith though... this brand's products were crafted by unicorn tears, I am sure.

2 // Brilliantine // This fabulous formula gives hair polish and a sort of languid, slept in, sexy look with separation and extra sheen. If like me your mornings consist of drinking tea, watching this morning and crushing over Ashley Robert's beautiful blonde locks. The description pretty much describes her hair... I probably need it.  

3 // Thickening Hairspray // This stuff is AH-MAZING. For those days when your hair is just way too silky to be manageable spritz a little of this through the lengths and brush it through for an instant burst of va-va-voom! I love it. 

4 // Thickening Serum // This leave in treatment fattens and fortifies over time for thicker, stronger strands and fuller hair. Recently I quit wearing extensions opting for a more natural look, but wearing extensions for years  has damaged my hair so in parts its only just growing back. I need a quick fix to plump it up and return it to its former glory, I think this just might be the one!

Golden Days // Haul

Okay, it's probably come apparent to you guys that my shopping addiction has taken a slight turn in the direction of accessories - in particular jewellery. A week and a large chunk of cash later and the collection is building nicely... all I'm craving now is a chunky silver chain and a few cute bracelets.

Ditsy Daisies

Those of you who read this blog regularly may have noticed I have been fooling around with the layout recently. Now don't laugh at me... but I am useless with technology. Honestly, I'm only just getting to grips with twitter - so creating and editing the layout of my own blog from scratch was a hard feat! I genuinely considered hiring someone to do it for me up until now... but as I've developed my blog I've begun to get to grips with the whole blogger platform and how to manipulate it, and I'm quite pleased with the results of my labour! 

The new design is much more crisp and gives off a more sophisticated vibe in my opinion. I haven't changed much apart from the colour scheme and design - it's the same template as before. Where I once had a plain background I've amped it up a little with the vibrant pattern and I have changed the blog's title in sync with this.

What do you think? Seeing as it's you lovely lot who have to look at it I would be so grateful for any comments you could share with me about the new look.

So Saturday night I went out with some girlfriends and seriously... I don't think anything has ever escalated so quickly. EVER. Note to self: Cocktails are not my friends.

On the plus side my coat kept me super cosy on the walk home - which I swear took twice as long as usual. I really loved this outfit, the playsuit is dead old but a good ol' classic when nothing else seems quite right, and seeing as I don't own a black dress, (I know right... I call myself a fashion blogger!), it had to be the LBP. (... little black playsuit. Brap.)

I have a crush on Lavish Alice...

I cannot wait to get my hands on the Mustard & White Contrast Dress and the Navy Blue Maxi Pinafore Dress! 

I love a good collar and the dress is by far the cutest I'v seen in a long time, except perhaps Valentino's tapestry print mini, but at 1.5% of the price its a fab alternative! The pinafore dress is something I wouldn't usually go for but there's something so unique about the style that I can't help but fall head over heels for it. The little logical man in my mind is telling me that never in a million years will it suit my body shape, (short, curvy, unbalanced...), but that whimsical fairy - head full of dreams and wishes - is telling me to go for it! Suppose I could just send it back... 

I always did wear my heart on my sleeve!
